Carolina Bloggers

 

What a fun, fabulous, and busy weekend!  This weekend I was able to join a group of fabulous bloggers and stalkers in Greenville, South Carolina for some excitement.  The festivities began in beautiful downtown G' Vegas.  We stayed at the Westin on Main Street. Beautiful! After arriving, we took a stroll down Main Street and did a little shopping.  Friday night we meet-up at the Lazy Goat for a delicious supper.  After a couple hours of munching and trying new things, we walked over to Jack and Diane's, a piano bar.  What fun we had there!  On Saturday morning, after packing the car we headed out to Main Street again.  The area was turned into a Farmer's Market.  Once again, we strolled and did a little shopping.  We meet the rest of the bloggers for lunch at Chicora Alley.  Yummy!  We talked, laughed, and talked some more.  Amanda made adorable name tags and goodie bags for each of us, and Natalie baked scrumptious cupcakes.  After lunch, the group headed out for a scavenger hunt by Ginger.  We all had a great time at the Carolina Bloggers Meet-up.  A special thank you to both Amanda and Ginger for hosting!  Check out all the bloggers that attended.

August has arrived!  I really wish we could have held it off for a little while longer, but it didn't ask me.  This month is going to be exciting, fun, stressful, sad, and thrilling all rolled in to one. Lots of things happening, so ready or not August is here!

I should have known the thunder would bring RAIN!  I think rain has become the newest disliked four letter word for many folks in North Carolina this summer.  Another inch (should I say five) is pouring down tonight.

I am so excited about the Carolina Blogger Meet-up this weekend.  It is going to be so much FUN!!! I just need to pack my bag for the weekend.

I want to have my room finished!  I need to finish arranging, decorating, and organizing.  Then, I can work on the planning during!

 

B2S Must Haves

1. A great teachers bag.  I received one similar to this as a gift from a student last year.  I love it!  It is a Thirty-one bag.

 

2.  Colorful Pens make grading papers so much more FUN!

 



3. An adorable lunch bag makes those healthy lunches just a little more yummy!  I am still on the lookout for a new one.  I saw this one on Target online.  Not sure that I love it!  Where do you find your lunch bag at?

Fun at the Carolina Blogger Meet Up

Last Saturday, the Carolina Girls (plus Georgia) meet up in Charlotte for some blogger fun.  Gretchen and Dana hosted the fun at Carraba's in downtown Charlotte.  We had a great lunch, wonderful conversation, and shared lots of fun ideas.  Dana and Gretchen created some fun items for blogger meet up.  We all received ribbons for our winning blogs, 'toe' nail polish, and a mat of all the bloggers that registered to attend.  The ladies also decorated the table up for the festivities.  The best part had to be the conversation.  I can't wait for the next meet up!
