Fall Fun Literacy and Math Activities
I am ready to begin some of my Fall Fun Literacy and Math Activities this week. I created seven Make Words Activities, How to Make a Pumpkin Pie Writing Activity, Fall Fun-Math Around the Room Review Activity, Descriptive Words page, two bump games (Fall Fun and Halloween), and two ABC Order Activities (Fall and Halloween). I can't wait to use this with my students. We have been busy with other fall activities and I know the kiddos will enjoy some of these treats over the next two weeks. Let me know what you think!

Free Fall Treats
I love this time of year! Living near the mountains of North Carolina, I am able to enjoy the fall foliage. It is such a beautiful season, wonderful weather, and fun get togethers. In the area I live, we have lots of Chicken Stews in the fall too. All I can say is YUMMY!
I thought I would share some free treats I have for the fall season to use with your students.
There once was a little witch that decided to go to school, but something terrible happened. She lost her broom! Well, not really but it worked for my kiddos. Checkout the Pinterest inspired craft and writing activity I created to go along with it. I made a quick template, got some paint swatches (or whatever you call those things), glue sticks, some stickers, and of course the students and began creating. Here is the freebie writing activity.
Another treat I have is Candy Corn Adjectives! Yummy!!! This Fabulous Fall Freebie can be used inn any classroom. I saw a bulletin board on Pinterest and now can't find it. That board was my inspiration for this activity. The bulletin board was a big piece of candy corn. The students were filling in adjectives to show why they like Halloween. So I created my own activity for my class to do with it. I hope you can use it.

Do you smell that?
Do you smell that? I think I know what it is....Fall is in the air. Today has been in the 70s with a nice breeze in NC. A pleasant change from the last few days. Unfortunately, allergy/cold season decided to come knocking on my door yesterday. Hopefully, the 'crud' will go away quickly.
Since I didn't feel like doing much, I decided to finish up my Fall Fun Literacy and Math Activities. I will utilize most of the activities during Daily 5 and the math activities will be supplemental and just fun for the kiddos. The first two people that tell me what they love about Fall will get the unit for FREE.

Fabulous Fall Fun
Are you ready for Fall? I just love Fall for many reasons. Living in North Carolina (close to the mountains) I love the Autumn Leaves Festival, Apple Festival, watching the leaves change colors, and of course all the wonderful fall treats made from pumpkins. One of my favorite recipes is Pumpkin Dip. I blogged about it a few days ago.
Since then I thought what fun it would be to have a Fabulous Fall Linky Party. To link up is easy as one two. Just share...
1 - Your favorite things about Fall
2 - Share a Free Fabulous Fall Activity
I have all ready shared many reasons why I like Fall so here goes my Fabulous Fall Freebie. I saw a bulletin board on pinterest and now can't find it. That board was my inspiration for this activity. The bulletin board was a big piece of candy corn. The students were filling in adjectives to show why they like Halloween. So I created my own activity for my class to do with it. I hope you can use it.
Link up and join the Fabulous Fall Fun!
