Don't Get Pinched

Tis the season to celebrate the little mischievous green guy!  I love this time of year.  Yes, it probably has to do with my last name.  Shamrocks, clovers, leprechauns, Ireland....do I have to give any more hints.  St. Patrick's Day is such a fun day.  This year my class will be participating in Projects by Jen.   My class will be taking part in the St. Patrick's Day Project.  We will be doing several activities with Lucky Charms.  We will also be using many of the activities in my St. Patrick's Day Literacy Activities.

I am also thinking about incorporating another engineering challenge and have the students make traps to catch the leprechaun.  It is a free activity on TpT.

I think we may write about this too using my How to Catch a Leprechaun Writing Unit.

I have high hopes that all my kiddos will wear green!  What are you planning for St. Patrick's Day?

St. Patty's Luck

I have always wanted to travel to Ireland.  Don't you think it would be a beautiful country to vacation in for a week or two?  One of my favorite holidays is St. Patrick's Day too.  I have a couple different leprechaun and St. Patrick's Day activities created on TpT.

If you can figure out why I want to travel to Ireland, leave a message.  The first correct person will get a free copy of both activities.  Good Luck!!

Science Fair, 100 Days, and Giveaway

Here is a a quick picture review of somethings from my week.

Our school science fair is coming up soon.  We decided to try and figure out which works better, mittens or gloves?  We had a ball with this.

Getting everything ready!

Valentine's Day and 100's Day combined into one adorable bulletin board.  I saw something similar on a blog and don't remember which one (if it was your let me know so I can give you credit).  I think it turned out to be pretty cute.

Are you ready for one AWESOME giveaway?!?!  I am teaming up with Taming My Flock of Firsties for My Winter Blues Giveaway.  I am giving away a copy of my St. Patrick's Day Literacy Activities.
