About Me

Just a little information about me...

Most importantly I am a mom to a wonderful and beautiful daughter that is in high school. She and I love to shop and travel together. We are always finding new spots to shop and don't mind if it takes a little while to get there.

Some of my favorites things are shopping, dark chocolate, traveling, cooking, spending time with family and friends, Aveda's rosemary mint body wash, and shopping (yes I know I said that already).

I have taught several grades including second, fourth, and fifth grades. I have been teaching for fourteen years. And I love it! I have been teaching second graders for the last six years. I just love this age. I have a master's degree in Instructional Technology from Appalachian State University. I was a 2012 Kenan Fellow.

  1. I am currently working on the same master's degree from ASU. Did you do it online? Where are you in NC? I'm so glad that you stopped by my blog!

    1. Julie,
I live in Davie County. My cohort was mixed, some online and some of the classes were in our county. I learned a ton and really enjoyed it. Good look with the program. Let me know if I can help!

  2. Hi Diane, I just had the time to stop by your blog! I am excited to follow along with you and your second graders this year. Your blog is SOOOOOOO cute!
